About Us

Dr. Laura Jean Varadi Newman is a South Carolina native who grew up in Charleston County.  After attending Wando High School, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of South Carolina.  Dr. Varadi Newman completed her dental education at the Medical University of South Carolina.  After graduating from dental school, Dr. Varadi Newman attended one of the nation's top Advanced Education in General Dentistry residencies at the University of Florida.  Through her achievements with her residency program, Dr. Varadi Newman received her Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.  When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Varadi Newman enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their daughter, Ansley.  Dr. Varadi Newman is excited to be providing quality and comprehensive care that every patient deserves. Having grown up in the area, she looks forward to giving back to the community that she has called home!
